Lilac Bastille Bar

There’s nothing quite like the beauty and fragrance from blossoming lilacs. Unfortunately, summer is only temporary and we don’t all live in Michigan. Fortunately, this bar can be used in your home year round! The high olive oil content makes it great for use in your kitchen, instead of harsh store bought dish soaps that dry out your skin. The scent might even make you want to do the dishes 🤓 (speaking from personal experience, since it’s my least favorite kitchen activity)

Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, green clay, kaolin clay, sodium hydroxide (lye), and sodium lactate (lactic acid), lilac fragrance oil, colored mica. 

• Green & kaolin clays are both gentle exfoliants for your skin, drawing out impurities, while also removing excess oil - great for those that have more oily skin. Both clays also have soothing & calming properties, great for those with sensitive skin.
• Olive oil makes the soap gentle and nourishing to the skin.
• Coconut oil reduces dryness, allowing your skin to retain moisture. 

Disclaimer:  Please note each bar is handmade and slightly different, so weight and design may vary.  All soaps are cured for a minimum of 4 weeks to ensure a hard but mild bar of soap. For best results, elevate on a soap dish, avoid sitting water.  If irritation on skin occurs stop use immediately, and rinse skin with water.

I know it smells good, but please do not eat the soap!
